2022 was another strange one. Strangenesses adding up. Wondering what's next.
Nevertheless we did some things out there, and you were there, and you supported us.
A very big thank you to all of you!
So, 2022. First thing first: KREIDLER released their album Spells and Daubs on Bureau B. Available on cd and vinyl, there is also a special Dinked edition for the British market on double vinyl with a three track EP together with Eric D. Clark. xxx. And reached #38 in the Official Record Store Chart Top 40 UK. In support of the album the video Revery was released. And Kreidler played a handful of shows, with stops in Berlin Düsseldorf Hamburg Karlsruhe and Karl-Marx-Stadt. Preparing a multi speaker set-up for the Berlin concert at Arkaoda, Kreidler started developing material for a new album. Besides.
THOMAS KLEIN played solo shows at Kabawil and Einzelzimmer, and presented performative sound pieces and audio and light installations at Neuer Kunstraum, at Atelier am Eck, and at Fire Flies IV at Malkasten — all Düsseldorf. Also, he released the cassette album Week Sound Diary.
ALEX PAULICK'S 7.1.4 studio is now approved by Dolby. So if you're looking for a dolby atmos mix ring up Spatialtone at www Furthermore LXAR — Paulick's/Reihse's project for spatial audio and microtonality — together with David Paulick presented an audio installation at Periode.
ANDREAS REIHSE played alongside Roberta Stein's and Cem Çakmak's PWAH at Acud, and with Seda Mimaroğlu alongside Emrah Gökmen and Merve Çanakçi as Aşk şarkıları at Hopscotch Berlin. At Theater Hof he performed in Hamletmaschine, directed by Benjamin Walther. He scored Alexandra Weltz-Rombach's Maintain/Unmaintain and Heinz Emigholz's Mamani in El Alto. Some of his paperworks was shown in Berlin at Periode and at YHIWYRH / Arkaoda, and in Cologne at a-Musik as part of Lebahn's/Römer's all_go_rhythm__This is a free concert (with a catalog by Slimvolume ). Some of Reihse's texts for Galerie Auslage were published in The Burdensome Richness.
Winkler's/Reihse's PERIODE played Berlin's Periode, Arkaoda and Charaf, and in Joachimsthal supporting Sonja vom Brocke and Georg Leß. Besides they were busy preparing their upcoming album on Weltschmerz Verlag. And contributed one exclusive song to a charity compilation hosted by Joscha Blankenburg of r52l due in January 2023. www
