LXAR

Alexander Paulick-Thiel and Andreas Reihse have been working together in KREIDLER since 1999, releasing over a dozen records, touring, and producing film music ( ikreidler.de). They have collaborated on projects such as Dark Park for a performance at the space of artists group hobbypopMUSEUM in Düsseldorf in 2000, for the theatre play I WILL (Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf) in 2005 and Paulick-Thiel's Seven Speakers surround sound installations since 2009.

They also joined forces for productions like the scores of Heinz Emigholz's The Last City (feature film, 2020) or Kota Ezawa's THE RISE AND FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL (video, 2021), or for Stefan Römer's ReCorder Album (LP, 2022).

As LXAR, they realise multi-channel projects, such as 2019 à propos, a performance at Diaphanes Space Berlin, and microtonal productions, e.g. the music for Heinz Emigholz's films Berlin [Underground] (2021) and Printed Matter (2022). And — combining both — microtonal multichannel installations e.g. at Periode Berlin (2022).
